Allyssa J. Rose is a skilled employment and business litigation attorney with a robust background in defending clients across a wide array of complex legal matters. At Kaedian LLP, Allyssa focuses her practice on defense-side employment and business litigation, where she has developed deep experience in complex motion practice and discovery management. She has drafted successful motions for summary adjudication, motions to compel arbitration, and many discovery-related motions.
Prior to joining Kaedian LLP, Allyssa was an associate attorney at a national law firm, managing a demanding docket of employment litigation matters and achieving favorable results in high-stakes disputes. Allyssa also gained valuable plaintiff-side experience early in her career, where she advocated for tenant rights and negotiated significant settlements, strengthening her ability to see cases from multiple perspectives.
Allyssa began her legal career at the nonprofit organization For The People, where she helped design and implement a statewide resentencing program, contributing to the release of 65 incarcerated individuals. She also led hiring and intern mentorship programs and developed training materials that enhanced statewide participation in criminal justice reform initiatives.
Allyssa earned her J.D., cum laude, from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), where she received multiple academic awards for excellence in legal ethics and anti-corruption compliance. She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Criminal Justice, Behavior & Law from The College of Saint Rose.
